| The iDiscoverArt.com website is scheduled to launch in July 2007. To prepare for our first online exhibit, we are now accepting the portfolios of artists who would like to showcase and promote their work.
If your work is accepted into the iDiscoverArt.com community you will receive a number of features that will help promote and sell your work that is exclusive to iDiscoverArt.com members. In addition to these personal features, iDiscover Art Group provides comprehensive promotions through a number of online and print media sources. iDiscover Art Group receives a very small *commission of 5% on any artwork that is sold through iDiscoverArt.com to offset the cost of our promotional efforts.
In any given category, we limit the number of artists that have an active account to fifty (50). This makes our review committee highly selective in the artists that we accept. Each artist that is accepted into the iDiscoverArt.com exhibit is shown on a monthly renewable basis, meaning iDiscover Art Group, or the Artist can cancel the 'active' status of an account at anytime.
Artists accepted into the gallery must have high quality digital images of their work available. If these images are not available, the artist is responsible for having these images produced before they are able to showcase their work in the gallery. We showcase various artists on the main gallery page regularly. To be considered, an artist must have digital images that are at least 1000 x 1000 pixels in size and 300 DPI. If your work is chosen for inclusion, we will contact you at least a month in advance.
*Artists are not required to display prices next to their work. This is beneficial for many reasons, and we recommend this approach if your goal is to exhibit with a gallery or museum. If a visitor is interested in purchasing your work, they will have the ability to contact you privately. |
